Home page of Central Florida Samoyed Rescue
Here you'll find information about the Samoyeds we currently have in our rescue program.
Take a look at some of our previous Sams and read their stories!
If you are interested in adopting a rescue Samoyed please fill out our adoption application.
Central Florida Samoyed rescue is always in need of foster homes. If you think you might like to foster a Samoyed waiting for a new home please fill out our foster application.
There are many areas where rescue needs help other than fostering. Some don't require that you have any previous Samoyed experience. Please take a look at our volunteer application if you would like to help us help Samoyeds in need.
If you have any questions please contact us.

These are the dogs that are currently in foster care. Some dogs may not be available for adoption at the moment due to health or other issues. Please read their stories to find out more information about them.

CFSR always tries to place the right dog with the right home. We carefully review applications and perform interviews to best match a Samoyed with a loving family. If you are interested in a particular Samoyed you can note that in the comment section of the adoption application. Please be aware that other applicants may already be waiting to adopt or in our opinion be better suited for that particular Samoyed. We do not make any guarantee that a particular dog will still be available when your application is approved.

  Name Sex Age Brief Description

Winter

Winter is a sweet 2 year old medium sized neutered male, He is up to date on all his vaccines.

He is still quite a puppy though and has a rambunctious attitude, so he would probably be best with no small children under 6 and might be better in an only dog household.

He is very strong and loves to go for a walk.  He is crate trained.  He is slightly food aggressive, but we think this is mainly due to him being an outdoor dog and a stray for a while. He'll get some work on this while he is in his foster home but will need an owner that will continue to reinforce good habits.

Since Winter was likely an outdoor dog he wasn't house trained when he came into rescue. His foster mom is working very hard to correct this and she tells us that Winter is partly housetrained now. She tells us he does well when you keep him tethered to your belt so you don't miss his signal to go outside. He's a smart boy and we expect him to graduate this important phase soon.
